The collection started from the idea of running away from “meaningful” design and goes back to the “meaningless” emotional outbursts that have genuine vitality inside. I grew up as a typical Asian girl, who was educated to have a “meaningful” life path. But the value one day seemed very sceptical to me, on the opposite, I shifted to designs that are more personal. I drew some angry random lines on paper and then turned them into the winding structure of the garment in an intent to Express.This time, I ask myself why not be ‘less meaningful’ ?
