“DR0P THE 8EAT” is a reinterpretation of grunge knitwear collection. The phrase of “DR0P THE 8EAT“ is commonly used by singers to request that a DJ to play a song. Each time a song is played, we hope to hear new and fresh melodies. I aims to bring this same sense of freshness to this collection too. The theme emphasises the grunge design elements and promotes a spirit of decadence, freedom, and boundlessness in music.

In Grunge fashion, denim and knitwear are the most representative items. In this collection, I have chosen to strengthen the connection between the two by using denim-like yarns and incorporating special stitches to create a worn-out feeling. Without damaging the fabric, I have made each knitted piece have a distressed yet similar-to-denim sensation. Weaving the feeling of denim into the yarn adds more attraction and charm.
