Running a home-grown fashion label in the diverse yet highly competitive retail  landscape of Hong Kong is never an easy path. The founding of Mint Studio, a new fashion networking platform under School of Fashion and Textiles (SFT), opens up this possibility by drawing together fashion industry players from various disciplines. Aiming to promote SFT alumni by building connections between designers and fashion industry, Mint Studio organized a pop-up event at a Macau based fashion selected shop – MHMH, showcases a local fashion brand “SZMAN”, founded by SFT alumna Mandy Fong.

Established in 2022, SZMAN is a fashion brand focuses on sustainable, high-end women’s clothing that embodies confidence and style. Inspired by classic modern romanticism, the brand creates a unique aesthetic merging retro and contemporary elements. Founder and designer Mandy Fong emphasizes sustainability through quality fabrics and limited production.
