Designer Wilson Yip studied for a master’s degree in fashion at Central Saint Martins and founded his personal brand, wilsonkaki, in 2021. Drawing inspiration from everyday life experiences, he continuously explores and redefines daily wear. The brand is known for its standout and easy-to-wear designs. Yip won the championship at the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC) in 2019 and was selected as one of the “Top 10 Asian Designers to Watch” in 2021. The brand also showcased its Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Tokyo Fashion Week.

Wilsonkaki is a clothing brand that explores the ordinary everyday life and reveals people’s social behaviour, to challenge our preconceptions about normality. We draw inspiration from the trivial things in daily life to develop unique yet wearable pieces.
