Christy Fok, the founder and designer of NONOBO.

From a young age, she has been obsessed with art and fashion. She is passionate about painting, studied art, and has participated in different painting competitions since she was young. Fashion and art are self-expression and a way to make a statement to her. This passion led her to pursue a degree in Fashion Design from Polytechnic University. After graduating, she joined the “Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest” and was one of the finalists. In the same year, she established her menswear brand “NONOBO” and launched the first collection in 2023. Besides developing the brand, she seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and learning, she also studied a course in jewelry design at Hong Kong Baptist University.

NONOBO was established in 2023, is a Hong Kong menswear brand. We explore art and design through garments without boundaries. It embodies the essence of gender fluidity, creating refined and unisex garments that repackage traditional suits into innovative designs,offering more possibilities for menswear. Art is filled with infinite unknowns, allowing for limitless exploration in art and design. Using abstract imagery toexpress my artistic sensibility, ensuring the resulting images are not figurative and leaving space for customers to think about or interpret the patterns in my designs.
